Question- The thermite reaction that was demonstrated in lecture used iron(III) oxide powder and aluminum powder to create molten iron. Another common thermite reaction uses copper(II) oxide and aluminum powder to create molten copper and solid aluminum oxide. The molten copper so produced can be used to weld electric joints.

When the reaction is performed with 3.05 g of aluminum powder and excess CuO, 7.55 g of molten Cu are produced. What is the percent yield of this reaction?
