At around four years of age, a basic change takes place in children's understanding of other's behaviors or what is as well called theory of mind. By using your knowledge from our readings, watch the video to find out which phase both Jacob and Patrick are at present in respectively.
Describe both Jacob's and Patrick's reaction to the "mean monkey". What phase would Erickson say each child is in? How do such different phases affect their values and attitudes?
