Position Paper - Current event
The paper must fully discuss event, trend or policy discussion and support of your position. The position paper should be 5-7 pages in length.
Recent National and International economic and societal events, policies and trends have, and continue to significantly impacted organizations, employees and job seekers.
Rational and learning objective: By critically analyzing current economic and societal trends relevant to organizations students will gain an understanding of the impact on employers, employees and job seekers.
Requirements: Students are to select a current event/ trend that impacts workforce dynamics.
Examples of topics include;
- Sexual harassment/misconduct in the workplace
- Iceland equal pay law
- Cyber security relating to employee privacy
- Post-employment drug screening
- Gender Equality.
Minimum required sources:
Four - Scholarly peer-reviewed journals
Two - Periodicals (popular press magazines).
