1. To what extent does culture affect the type and amount of violence one observes in a society? How is this evident in your own culture? Do you have any personal biases in regard to violence?
2. Under what conditions should punishment be most and least effective in reducing aggression? From the perspective of social learning theory, explain why punishment might increase rather than decrease aggression.
3. Summarize the theory of reconstructive memory as it relates to eyewitness testimony. What does the research suggest about the use of such testimony from children?
4. Explain the differences between the adversarial and inquisitorial models of justice and how those differences relate to satisfaction with the process.
