As the textbook states, "Language is intimately linked to culture". Pretend you were living in a state that actually wants to do their best to nurture a democratic society and invest in their public education. The city or town you live in has many students who do not have English as their first language. You have the power to create a program for these students or all of your students, if you choose. Please use the numbering in your post.
• Pick one of the program models that start on page 196 that you would recommend your district to adopt. Which model would you pick?
• Briefly, summarize the model you would pick and any adaptations you would make to that model.
• Explain to us why you picked that model.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
