Hill offered in a letter to buy Bell’s property. He told her to mail him a warranty deed to the property and he would send her a check for the purchase price. She agreed to sell but wrote that she would only send Hill a quitclaim deed, as that was the only deed that she had ever received. Hill sued her to transfer the property to him. Will Hill succeed?
