Discussion Post: Identifying Social Change Issues
Consider your own community and describe a social change that demands the development of new policy. (This example should be different from the social change issue you have chosen for this unit's assignment.)
Discuss the following:
i. Explain what you believe to be the most suitable method for identifying this social issue.
ii. State the policy that you would propose to be enacted.
iii. Identify the specific agency, government, business, non-profit, or combination of these that should implement your proposed policy.
iv. Describe what you think is the most likely outcome of your social change policy proposal. Who will benefit and who will not benefit?
The response should include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
