State in brief about Gullstrands Theory
A change in the lens is controlled by the balance between elasticity of the lens capsule and the pull of zonules. It is believed that only the zonules attached to the anterior surface of the lens were efficient, therefore, the anterior surface curvature was the only part that changed.
