"Sometimes attitudes, in addition to knowledge and skills, are the focus of training. When the goal of training is attitude change, the focus of training activities is to provide the trainees with information that contradicts inappropriate attitudes and supports more appropriate attitudes.

Thus, training does not focus on changing attitudes specifically, but rather on providing new knowledge." I know that it states that training does not focus on changing attitudes but sometimes I wish it did.

Sometimes you get someone in the training that thinks they know everything there is to know about the job that they will be doing. I had a guy sit with me at work one time and I would try and explain what I was doing and why. This guy just keep telling me " I know" so after about 15 minutes of hearing that I stop explaining.
