Development of nuclear weapons is an issue that needs to be looked into. In the East as well as the West, some countries have programs that aid in development of the weapons hence posing a great threat to global peace and international relations. For instance, North Korea has been testing its nuclear capability in the Korean Peninsula and that has led to an uproar not only in the East but also the West. Development of the weapons leads to the research question, "Should more countries be allowed nuclear weapons"? This is the research question that will be looked into by the critical essay.
In order to critically examine whether more countries be allowed nuclear weapons, the aspects outlined below will be evaluated. Examples will be given in order to support and add weight to perspectives that will be presented by the essay.
