Are we experiencing an increasing ‘sexualisation’ of culture, and what are the pros and cons of this if so? Pick a specific media issue (e.g., sexting, pornography, advertising) to discuss in terms of how media practices and/or representations play a role in cultural ‘sexualisation’, and what the positive and negative consequences are in terms of social gendered power relations.
