Scripture and Theories in Counseling
As counselors, it is essential to develop a framework for how to do counseling. For Christian counselors, then, it is necessary to develop a framework that is faithful to Scripture and one that wisely evaluates the most common approaches to counseling in the secular therapeutic world. To do so, the Christian counselor must understand what the Bible has to say about life's problems and be able to apply Scripture to problems as they arise.
So what place does Scripture have? and The place of secular psychological theory?
