Review the evidence presented regarding hand washing behaviors (or the lack thereof). Report results based on the way the data were obtained. What accounts for the differences in survey, observational, and mechanical-based studies? Do a little research of your own on hand washing and compare to the results reported here. Can you think of other ethical ways to "observe" this behavior that are not stated in this chapter?
