Research and study a passage from the Pentateuch.
Chosen passage :- Genesis 28 : 10-22
From this study work out what change, or what understanding of God, the author(s) wanted to produce in their hearers. Express this in one simple sentence.
Write up your exegesis to explain why you think this is what the passage was intended to mean (in its ancient context).
To do this you will need to explain something about relevant features of the historical and canonical contexts (setting in life and in Scripture), usually you will need to discuss the wording and structure of the passage.
You must support things you say with references to the Bible and a minimum of 15 other works of scholarship.
