Relate the military and economic power with each other
The balance of military and economic power of equilibrium is therefore desirable. A balance of power is a pre-requisite for each nation's security, of its borders and the economy. Any attempt by any nation to expand its power and attain dominance or hegemony which would allow it to impose its will upon the other states is resisted. When the balance is disturbed, the tendency would be to take responsive action to return to a position of equilibrium.
