The Tempest and its different versions and revisions
Discuss the ways in which Aimé Césaire in “A Tempest”, Marina Warner in “Indigo” and Julie Taymor in a film (version from 2010) re-interpret, re-invent and re-write Shakespeare’s “The Tempest”
Hint: Think about the idea of the Empire “writing back” and also the other re-interpretations of Western literature.
