Paper 1: Cultural Background
Write a 2-3 page typed paper describing your cultural background. Describe how you think your culture influences your communication with others in your daily life. Remember your culture is not limited to your ethnicity. You can also explore connections to your co-cultures.
Questions you should answer in your paper:
1. What does your culture mean to you? Is it something you have thought about? Is it an important part of your daily living?
2. Does your family have any traditions or special celebrations?
3. What situations made you aware of how your culture affects your communication (verbal/and or nonverbal)?
