Q. State any three properties of the neutrons.
(i) A Neutrons are the constituent particles of all nuclei except hydrogen.
(ii) As they are neutral particles they aren't deflected by electric and magnetic fields.
(iii) As neutrons are neutral they are able to easily penetrate any nucleus.
(iv) Neutrons are steady inside the nucleus. However outside the nucleus they are unstable.
