Assignment task: Find two competitor brands' websites (and yes: these websites should be school- appropriate). Think about how they use visuals to sell their products, promote their brand, and help users navigate their website. Take a careful look at the layout of their websites. This is a type of document design, website design. Your responses should be numbered, and each prompt response should be at least four sentences.
1. Provide the two brands and links to their websites. Briefly explain what type of service that they provide.
2. Discuss their use of visual aids. What types of graphics do they use? Describe some of them to us. How do they use them to attract users? Do you find one more appealing than the other? Explain.
3. Navigate/travel their websites. Are both sites easy to use? Do you have a preference and why? How does this impact end-user experience? Explain.
