Problem: Infant Sensory
Will take a look at sensory development in infancy. For work you will be asked to provide an infant sensory experience, engage in observation of infant with sensory experience.
Choose and provide an infant sensory activity from the article "Sensorimotor development: Hands-on activities for infants and toddlers" by Louise Parks.
Record your experience of recreating your chosen activity with a child in the Infancy age range period (0-12months).
If you do not have an infant in this age group, please you use the next age group available to you. Feel free to be the observer and, if you have a friend/family member with a child in this age group. You can create the activity and then guide the caretaker through how it works and have them do it with their child. If you use an adult or older child, please be sure to ask about their experience and about how and why they think an infant might enjoy this experience

A. Provide an overview of what the sensory experience was like. Share your thoughts and reactions.
B. Make a connection with your observations to chapter content.
