When the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) was passed, the legislation guaranteed that it would not "mandate a State or any subdivision thereof to spend any funds or incur any costs not paid for under this Act." A requirement of NCLB has been that the percentage of students of schools and districts scoring a proficient level on state standardized assessments will increase each year. Most Title I schools will face sanctions if all students are not scoring at the proficient range for Mathematics and English Language Arts.

b) Next, propose changes to the reauthorization of NCLB by identifying areas of concern from your perspective. Present your discussion response in a video dialogue.
