Problem related to class domination theory

Problem: Respond to the discussion question below:

Class Domination Theory is the idea that corporations and their wealth essentially have control of other classes, sets policies, and influences politics and the economy.  Domhoff best explains that those who have the money have the power.  In the United States, the money is traced to those people who control the various corporations.  This does affect the community I live in and my family.  In the central valley, oil and agriculture have tremendous influence.  Therefore, the businesses and oil companies are the major contributors to the local and state economies. Jobs are created and public policies are created by the power elite within those corporations to better serve their interests.  For example; my son is a radiographer in the oil fields.  If the oil industry shuts down he and countless others will lose their jobs, homes, etc.  The big corporations give money to political campaigns that support their agendas.  Those candidates are elected carrying with them the wishes of the power elite to Sacramento or Washington to later influence public policy.

The elite classes are groomed by institutions that are set in place by the wealthy to mold future leaders.  I think of Yale's Skull and Bones secret society.  This is where young men are groomed to be future leaders, making connections with other powerful men and families.  The Bohemian Grove is very interesting.  This a place where the super elite and powerful meet.  What transpires there is very secretive but I would think that many issues are talked about, strategies discussed and made regarding how and who should be in power.  Some notable members include U.S. Presidents, namely Ronald Regan, Both Bushes and Richard Nixon.  Also Henry Kissinger, Charles Schwab, Clint Eastwood, and other notable men.  These are men that make up the political, financial, and entertainment worlds.
