Question: Help me respond to Mike Gooden post in 200 word The brain can change throughout life. This ability is called neuroplasticity. According to Hopper (n.d.), we can see this change in six main brain circuits: fear, seeking, satisfaction, embodiment, default mode, and executive. These circuits are not set in stone. They keep changing based on our experiences and environment. Family plays a big role in how these circuits develop. The executive circuit, which is in the front part of the brain, helps us plan, focus, and manage emotions. It mostly learns these skills from caregivers (Hopper, n.d.). When families are safe and caring, children learn to calm their fear circuit and control their seeking circuit. When families are unsafe or unpredictable, a child's brain adapts for survival. The fear circuit can become overactive, and the seeking circuit may focus on quick ways to escape pain, like distraction or impulsive behavior. Trauma also changes the brain. After overwhelming stress, the fear circuit can stay on high alert and react strongly to small threats (Hopper, n.d.). The seeking circuit may then chase short-term relief, such as substances or constant worrying, to get away from the fear. The embodiment circuit, which helps us feel what is happening in our body, can change too. Some people feel numb and disconnected. Others feel their body sensations very intensely, which can increase cravings. These changes are the brain's way of adapting. Need Assignment Help?
