Problem: What is your current major? My major is Elementary Education (K-6th grade). I am currently doing my field study in a local Christian Private school. It has been a great experience so far. My target graduation is in the fall of 2026. I can see that the end is near, and I'm excited. Where are you currently employed? I am currently a teacher's aide at the school where I am doing my field service. Before this, I was an over-the-road truck driver for 20 years, relocating families and their household goods all over the U.S. After I resigned from the road, I became an operations manager at a moving company here in San Antonio, TX, and I have been doing this job for the past 5 years. In August of 2025, I left the moving business to finish my education to become a teacher. So now, aside from my family, I am on a mission to finish my education so I can set out to become a teacher here in my city. How do you think this course will help you in your current position or future positions? The study of Psychology will help me understand why people act, think, and feel. And the reasons why different cultures and people groups are so different in the way they act, think, and feel. I want to know why the student in the rough part of town has a different mindset. Overall, I want to know how to help my students. I want to learn how to insert a Biblical worldview into the area of study. Teach them to act in ways that lead to a successful educational life.
