Problem regarding the hofstede shorthand definition

Problem: In 100 Words Respond To This Post, Hofstede's shorthand definition is "Culture is the collective programming of the mind that distinguishes the members of one group or category of people from others". Which tells us that cultures are what influences how we think, act, and see the world. Hofstede's view presents culture as shared intelligence that makes intercultural competence about recognizing and understanding different cultures. Deardoff's theory of intercultural competence is a continuous learning process and not something that we are born with as humans, but it is expanded upon through development and awareness. Her theory emphasizes attitude, knowledge, and respect. Unlike Hofstede, Deardorff focuses less on cultural differences and more on how individuals develop the ability to interact effectively across cultures over time. Praxmarer's view is that individual's intercultural competence is made through the interactions they have with people from other cultures. All these theories build off one another in terms of building intercultural competence but all in different ways. Praxmarer differs from both Hofstede and Deardorff by emphasizing that intercultural competence is created through specific experiences rather than learned or possessed through their upbringing. I believe that there are multiple ways to develop cultural competence and it varies on what best works for the individual. I believe this since it is like how different learning styles will affect each other. Need Assignment Help?
