Two different types of bureaucracies include cabinet departments, which are major executive offices that are directly accountable to the president, and government corporations which are agencies formed by the federal government to administer a quasi-business enterprise, example being the U.S. Postal Service. The U.S. Postal Service is a very effective and efficient bureaucracy considering the size of how it operates all across the nation.
