Product placement is a very effective way of marketing. I agree visual product placement is probably the most used however I think usage just might be a little more effective. And when a product is used it is often spoken and seen. I know I'm probably going to date myself with this....lol....Like Laverne from the TV show Laverne and Shirley. She always drink Pepsi and milk (As disgusting as it sounded) it was never just pop or any other drink it was always Pepsi. So Pepsi's sales increased drastically due to this product placement. It was seen, spoken and used.
