Problem on working on a collaborative project together

Problem:

Sally and Jane were hired at the same time and started working on a collaborative project together. Sally and Jane contributed equally to the project, and it turned out great! Sally and Jane were collectively praised for their work. The next time both Sally and Jane completed projects, they worked on them individually. Before she reads either of their reports, Sally and Jane's boss expects that Sally's report will be better than Jane's because Sally looks very intellectual so the boss assumes that Sally probably contributed the most to their collaborative project. The boss's assumption that Sally did more of the work than Jane did can best be explained by which classical phenomenon?
