Problem concerning the self-actualization

Problem: According to Carl Rogers, individuals can achieve self-actualization only when they possess a positive self-view, also known as positive self-regard. This positive self-regard is fostered through unconditional positive regard from others, which means individuals feel valued and respected without any conditions. This form of acceptance is particularly influential during childhood, primarily from parents and caregivers. For self-actualization to take place, there must be congruence between an individual's self-image-the way they perceive themselves-and their ideal self-the person they aspire to be or believe they should be. When there is alignment between these two self-concepts, individuals are more likely to pursue their full potential. Explain. Need Assignment Help?
