Probability of successful procurement and completion

Assignment Task: Need help responding to the following peer post.

Greetings Everyone,

The code of ethics is the guidelines towards morals and values of different organizations. It allows those that follow to understand what the organizational morals and values mean and how it contributes to organizational goals. It also allows for those that don't or are considering breaking the code to have a full understanding of their potential punishment.  After reviewing this week's references regarding this topic, I have come to the realization that the code of ethics is basically a way for an organization to communicate a certain standard for the work environment as well as personally. Communicating these conditions has a key impact on functionality. I have learned that without the code of ethics most organizations would fail in every department that deems an organization functional. These departments could be financial, contracts, customer service, shipping and receiving etc. The code of ethics touches on all departments to ensure that there is blanket covering the principles of an organization.  It applies to contracts by establishing long term relationships between distributors, suppliers, stockholders etc. The longevity and trust between parties of a contract could make all the difference in successfully obtaining more contracts for an organization. I learned that the code of ethics is a foundational accessory to the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).  It highlights to the members of the association that, following the nine guiding principles of this code, will help guarantee continuing efforts with your organization for the association. Ethics supports intention for a contract and the probability of successful procurement and completion.
