PHARYNX -
Commom system between digestive system and respiratory system.
In it gullet and glottis present.Gullet leads to oesophagus. Glottis lead to trachea.
Wall of pharynx is muscular, it promotes swallowing.
Three parts are clear in pharynx.
(i) Naso pharynx - Towards nasal chamber. Attached to middle ear by Eustachain tube.
(ii) Oropharynx - 6 tonsils present, made up of lymphoid tissue, guard of body.
(iii) Laryngeo pharynx - Towards larynx.
