Religion and Theology:
One issue students usually come into the nursing program with little knowledge about is how different religious beliefs affect how you care for patients.
Do some research on one of the following religions: Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Pentacostal, or another religion that you are interested in learning more about. Answer the following questions: You can use the internet,
people, books, etc. as sources of information.
1) What is a general overall view of this religion’s beliefs?
2) How does an individual that practices this religion veiw health and illness?
3) How does an individual that practices this religion view birth? Death?
4) What types of dietary issues might an individual practicing this religion follow?
