Problem: Summarize the following:
Studies were identified via literature searches and included whether they reported outcomes of a positive psychology intervention facilitated by peers; we excluded studies not published in English. For the purpose of this review, we defined 'peer-led interventions' as programs facilitated by non-expert individuals who may have received training in the subject matter and, if so, for the sole purpose of delivering the program. The notion of 'peers' can include the alignment of demographic variables such as age group and living location, but it can also include the alignment of shared experiences, such as shared mental health challenges or career identities. While a systematic literature analysis was outside the scope of this research, we searched the PubMed database for relevant literature. Furthermore, we applied three groups of search terms pertaining to 'peer-led', 'positive psychology', and 'interventions'. Search results were further complemented with studies known to the authors, as well as through additional relevant papers identified through reference lists. Studies were considered relevant if they were facilitated by peers and included an intervention targeting mental wellbeing, in line with the dual continua model described above. We begin the review with a brief overview of positive psychology interventions. Need Assignment Help?
