Problem:
A good response for this discussion that motivates you?
A mix of personal growth and long-term success is what drives me. The desire to strengthen my skills, especially in areas related to my job, like technology and problem-solving, drives me. I stay on track and focused because I know that what I do today can help me in the future. The idea of stability and independence also drives me to stay disciplined, even when tasks seem hard or boring. Also, seeing progress, whether it's small steps forward or big wins, makes me feel satisfied and motivates me to keep going.
Give an example when you were extrinsically motivated
One time I was motivated from the outside was when I worked diligently on an assignment that had a big effect on my overall grade. In that case, my main goal was to obtain a high score so that my class average would go up. The outside reward of getting a satisfactory grade and keeping my academic standing was what drove me. I spent more time studying and going over the material, not because I liked the assignment, but because I wanted the excellent grade that came with it. This shows how things outside of school, like grades or expectations, can affect how diligently someone works and how they act.
Give an example of when you were intrinsically motivated
I learn about cybersecurity tools or techniques outside of class as an example of intrinsic motivation. I'm not doing this for a grade or any other reward right now; I'm doing it because I'm really interested in the field and want to learn more. I find the process interesting and rewarding, especially when I learn something new or figure out how to fix a problem. This kind of motivation comes from inside and makes learning more fun and meaningful. Need Assignment Help?
