Topic: Management of Safeway
You may write your course paper as an evaluation of the management of any organization or department of your choice. You paper must incorporate the theories and concepts covered in the textbook and assignment questions to discussed in our sessions. Your paper is required to have at least six sources, and three of those sources need to be different titled sources (i.e. three articles from Forbes counts as one titled source but goes towards fulfilling three out of your total of six required for the paper, whereas one article form Forbes and two articles from The Wall Street Journal counts as two titled sources, and goes towards fulfilling three out of the six sources that you need in total for the paper). A title page, a one to two paragraph summary/abstract, and a bibliography are all required. Your paper is required to be at least 1,750 words in the main body (this does not include the abstract, bibliography, etc.). Papers will be graded on both the quality and the proper quantity of information; failure to meet the 1,750 word minimum in the main body will result in the loss of an appreciable amount of points (as a point of reference, this course outline is approximately 1,600 words long). Please follow the guidelines at the top of this syllabus for written assignments. Citations need to be in APA format.

This list is not meant to be exhaustive and other sources may be approved on a case by case basis, just send me an email with the name of the publication(s) and I will let you know if your requested source is permissible; any sources outside of the list below must be submitted for approval at least five days before the deadline the course paper; otherwise, only the sources below will count.
