Problem: I live in New York City, and I think residential sprinklers should be in all apartment buildings because nineteen people were killed in a fire in the Bronx apartment building on January 11, 2022, and 9 were children. 17 dead in the Bronx in an apartment fire on July 8, 2022. The Bronx again had three children killed in a fire on December 28, 2017. Most of these fires could have been stopped with sprinklers in the hallway. Because when the fire happens, people get confused and leave doors open that, make the fire spread out to the hallway, making the building a chimney.
