List the steps in the rational decision-making model

Assignment task:

This Week's Detailed Case Study Information Barney Duckworth handed you the case below:

Managing employees and relationships at work is a challenging task. A lot of theories/strategies were developed by psychologists, managers, and other professionals to manage relationships at work effectively. You know most of these theories, which is why you will help the Company apply these concepts to real-life situations this time. You will adhere to organizational behavior concepts and apply decision-making and problem-solving techniques in formulating business policy. It has been a long day at HRI enterprises, and you are preparing to go home. However, suddenly one of your team leaders knocks on your office door and asks for an emergency meeting. You agreed to meet her and discuss the problem. The team leader, Katie, cited a recurring problem: employee lateness. "It happened again," she said, "and our clients were forced to sit down and wait for our employees to arrive at their workplace." You realize this is a frustrating experience for clients and could negatively affect the corporate image. Therefore, you thanked her and told her you would solve this problem the next day.On the way home, you were thinking about the critical points that you will need to solve this problem, and you wrote these down below:

1. Employees are paid minimum wages and are not motivated.

2. Many employees work two jobs and experience burnout.

3. The economy is improving, and profits are increasing, so you might be able to negotiate a raise for the front-line employees.

4. It is easy to replace the employees, but each recruit will require a week of training.

The next day you sit down and decide to figure out a solution for this problem. You are aware that you should follow specific techniques you learned in organizational behavior to formulate a successful business policy. Therefore, you decide to do the following:

Question1: Identify, and analyze the factors which could influence your perception in this case.

Question2: List the steps in the "Rational Decision-Making Model" and apply these to the problem at hand.

Question 3: Formulate a business policy based on your analysis.
