Brainstorm how your school could study the success of healthy student lunch programs.
List all ways you could use quantitative data to indicate whether school lunches were healthy and whether they are successful in increasing childhood health and reducing hunger. How would we define success? How would we measure this success? Quickly research a few articles on the topic and write out a brief plan to study this in your school using quantifiable observation, interviews, surveys, counts, etc. What univariate statistics would you use?
