Calling “someone’s hand” or forcing a confrontation to take place assures that action will take place, one way or another. At the very least, the situation or issue will no longer remain stagnant. Some project managers believe this type of behavior is counterproductive and conflict avoidance should always be the choice of action, because confrontation results in a lack of trust among your project team members.
From your knowledge, plus, your professional experience; do you believe that confrontation should or should not be used?
