However, the project to deliver the robotic painting system has experienced a number of problems. PRINCE2 is a process based approach for project management providing an easily tailored and scalable method for the management of all types of project. Every process is explained with its key inputs and outputs, in addition to the particular objectives to be achieved and activities to be undertaken. It contains bureaucratic controls on the planning and implementation of projects. It would have helped L Company to identify some of the potential problems that have now transpired which it could have rectified previous in the project life cycle.
