Problem: Darryl is a mental health technician at a substance abuse facility. While sitting at the front desk, he receives a call from someone claiming to be a friend of a patient asking about the patient's day. Darryl searches for the patient in the computer and gives information about the patient to the caller. Darryl's boss hears the call and tells him that his job may be at risk for unlawfully sharing patient information. Darryl does not understand that what he did was wrong.
