CINAHL Complete

The definitive research tool for nursing and allied health professionals with access to the top nursing and allied health journals. Includes full text for more than 1,300 journal titles with indexing for more than 5,000 journal titles.

I selected these two databases because each of them have an immense library of articles and other research literatures for me to turn to for my assignments.

These resources are more effective when compared to google scholar or a general internet search because they are each specific databases for nursing. This allows me to spend less time searching and sorting through articles that have nothing to do with my topics.

This also allows for a more in depth search because I can use specific keywords to narrow my search to the most important articles needed. Lastly, academic databases like these are more likely to have updated and relevant information whereas on the others I may be using old or irrelevant sources for information.

I believe the research databases I have chosen are more student specific and allow me quick access to clear and concise information to use in my assignments.
