CONTEXT: One of the foundational ideas that connects all of Aristotle's thought was the belief that everything had a telos (Greek word for 'goal' or 'end result'). In his concept of Justice, Aristotle thought each person should be given what they are due or what they deserve.
1. The restaurant 'Hooters' hires only attractive female waitresses who are willing to wear revealing clothing. However, some men want to work there as waiters too. Is it unfair that Hooters hires only women for the waitstaff positions? Consider the telos (the purpose or goal) of the restaurant. Is it merely to serve food? Or is it to entertain men? Who should get to decide the purpose? What would Aristotle say?
