Is it morally wrong to eat meat

Problem: Following in the path of Jeremy Bentham (who argued that animals have moral status to the extent that they can experience pleasure, pain, and quality of life), the utilitarian philosopher Peter Singer has claimed that modern methods of meat production expose animals to needless and wholly unjustifiable suffering. He goes on to contend that because humans can live a perfectly healthy life on a vegetarian diet, it is therefore morally wrong to eat meat. Do you agree with his argument and conclusion? Why or why not? (Minimum length three paragraphs)
