Problem: This is what one of my classmates wrote-When it comes to interpreting blindness and sin there's a lot of impactful thoughts that come to my mind. For me, this section of John's Gospel has a deeper meaning than just the blind man who was healed by Jesus. Although the man was born with a disease, we tend to think that following Jesus or believing in him means that our life would be perfect. However, believing in Jesus and understanding His doings further supports his divine authority where he heals people, he pushes demons or evil spirits out and he demonstrates love even to those who doubt him. This doesn't mean that because someone has a disease they're born in sin or are punished. In this section, there was a lot of animosity towards Jesus because people would think He is a demon because of what he was saying and doing, yet he wouldn't show his presence to these people. They would also say that if He is the Son of God, why are people even born with diseases or have a challenging life. Reading about the people's opinion that believed Jesus was a sinner and evil opened my eyes to see Jesus in a positive light because only those who believe in the light will see that. This section shows that Jesus is a healer, that this world is not perfect but it can be a better version and can be lived fully if we trust in Jesus. From my religious standpoint, negative things or diseases exist because it's a given chance for the power of God to be proven through Jesus. Can you write me a reply? Need Assignment Help?
