Institutional Resource
In many cases information not published in regular publications can be sought directly from research organizations in public, private or government setups. This then becomes the case of an institution being a source of information. Many times many institutions maintain their past records, annual reports or old documents not available in other place in their archives. These are then institutional resources too. In addition to the above, industrial establishments have unique information which is unavailable anywhere. The specialized information centers, referral centers, clearing houses, trade promotion councils, learned societies and associations, universities, colleges, etc. are examples of institutions as sources of information.
