Consider your knowledge of elections and political parties when completing this activity. Using a Word document, in a minimum of 200 words, explain what happened in the elections of 2000 and 2004. How did the Electoral College shape the outcomes of both elections, albeit in different ways? In what ways did each of these elections contribute to polarization between the two main political parties (i.e., Democrats and Republicans)?
