I. In the article "Why Do Voles Fall in Love" by Willey and Giordano, what do the authors mean by "The story of love-in science and the larger culture of which it is a part-is clearly a gendered one"?
II. Why is the idea of a "gene for" a particular trait misleading, according to Willey and Giordano? What is a "gene" as interpreted by the public and in media coverage? How does it differ, or not, from how it is understood in the science field? Why is it important for the general population outside the scientific community to understand scientific findings in a comprehensive way?
