1. Explain and illustrate the uses of symbolism used by each of the writers in the narrative module. How does the symbolism reflect each main character's struggle with society?
2. Briefly discuss at least one dramatic character's and one poet's struggle with society. (In other words, connect the struggles you have seen in narrative fiction with those in the work of dramatists and poets.)
3. In the conclusion to this paper, discuss how each genre you have studied allows a writer to express his or her themes in a different and powerful way.
