If we believe nonprofessionals can do the work of professionals, aren't we setting them up for failure?
Before you respond to this question, consider the following: In order for someone to be called a professional, don't such persons need to possess specialized education, knowledge, experience, judgement, and skill that is predominantly mental or intellectual (as oposed to physical or manual) in nature?
